Arrive in Chengdu, the starting point of your journey.

Transfer to the airport for the flight to Lhasa. The group takes the same flight due to the group permit. Upon arrival at Lhasa Airport, transfer to the city (about 2 hours drive).

Spend the day appreciating Lhasa’s rich cultural history. Visits include Jokhang Temple, Norbulingka (Summer Palace of Dalai Lama), Potala Palace, and nearby monasteries Drepung and Sera.

Continue cultural visits in Lhasa and enjoy the historic sites and temples.

Drive from Lhasa through Yamdrok Lake, Karola Glacier, Manla Reservoir, Kumbum Stupa in Gyantse, and arrive in Shigatse in the late afternoon.

Journey through the Tibetan plains to Saga County, a key convergence point of three vital roads.

Visit Old Drongpa village and Dargyeling Monastery. Stop at Lake Manasarovar and Lhanag-tso Lake before arriving at Darchen.

Start trekking around Mount Kailash, visiting Tarboche, Chorten Kangnyi, Chuku Monastery, and stay overnight at Dirapuk Monastery.

Trek through Jarok Donhang meadow, ascend Dolma-la Pass (5360m), and descend to Dzultripuk Monastery, resting for the night.

Complete the trek around Mount Kailash, passing through Gold and Red Cliffs and Milarepa’s Cave. After trek, drive to Saga with stunning hill views.

Drive along the scenic G219 highway through vast plains and mountains, arriving at Sayka County for overnight stay.

Drive from Sakya to Lhasa via Friendship Highway, returning to hotel in downtown Lhasa for rest.

Fly back to Chengdu (2.5hrs flight).
